It’s a challenge. ESS is looking for some motivated early birds to rise to the challenge this Saturday, January 13, to join us in helping a great local charity to inspire the creative and innovative potential in tomorrow’s leaders. Yes, we’re talking about the Charleston Marathon.

No, we aren’t asking you to join the race. (There will already be thousands of your fellow Charlestonians, along with runners from all around the country pushing their limits in this great test of endurance.)

Your chance to be part of the action is behind the scenes, helping us organize the race, keep the runners safe and share your smiles of encouragement to help make this event a spectacular success!

We are looking for 20 race monitors and 20 assistants in the field to help direct traffic for parking. If you have 4 hours to spare this Saturday morning, come be part of something great, and get paid while doing it!

Work Times:
6:00am – 10:00am – Race Monitors
5:00am – 9:00am – Parking Attendance

After the shift ends, you will be ready to join in the celebration – shrimp & grits, beer, mimosas, live music! And it’s all for a great cause.

The 2012 Carrier Classic is a wonderful event which focuses attention on America’s veterans and members of the armed services. Our very own city was the proud site chosen for the 2nd annual basketball tournament, which took place atop the flight deck of The Yorktown!

Event Staff Services was honored to be part of such a great cause!  We were fortunate to be part of the planning for this event, as well as help with the preparation and safety of transforming the deck into a professional size basketball court!

During the event, ESS provided security and safety throughout the ship, managed crowd control, ticketing and various other duties which helped make this a very successful event! . Even though the weather was chilly, the fans were on fire while out supporting their favorite teams!

Have you ever wondered how mixed drink concoctions get created?  Well now we know -at  a Bartenders Mixology Summit!

This was a fun event held at the Pavilion of the Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina.  Local bartenders got together with some folks from Moet Hennessy to ‘mix it up’!  They concocted, mixed, shook, and stirred to create some new drink ideas.

Event Staff Services provided the security, ID checking and wrist-banding for this fun night!  These folks were a joy to work for and with.
